Caring For Your Candle
THE FIRST BURN
When lighting for the first time, burn the candle until wax melts across the entire surface up to the sides of vessel as this will prevent tunnelling, and create an even burn for the duration of the candle's life. Make sure you can burn your candle for at least an hour or two.
TRIM YOUR WICKS
The wick only needs to be approximately ¼” in length. Keeping it this length will avoid mushrooming which can result in unnecessary soot. This also controls the size of the flame allowing you to get the most time out of your candle.
Keep the pool of wax free of wick trimmings and any debris at all times.
Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Avoid drafts, vents or air currents.
Burn for at least one hour each time you light the candle.
